Picture Perfect workshops are designed to teach both the novice and experienced photographer how to shoot and “see the world in photographs.” Professional photographers Todd and Brad Reed will cover many technical aspects of photography including shutter speed, f-stops, aperture, ISO, and depth of field, and explain how all of these elements work together. They will teach methods on how to look at and breakdown a photograph into all of its technical and artistic elements, and provide guidance on choices and building blocks to create great photographic art. Todd and Brad will also share the 20 artistic elements that they use when they are in the field “making” their photographs. Workshops are targeted towards both the absolute beginner with a “point and shoot” camera as well as the seasoned professional who is looking for a new and different perspective. All ages and abilities are welcomed as are both digital and film cameras.
Price: The weekend workshop, including meals and refreshments, is $350 per person. Lodging is not included. If you would like to book a room at Cartier Mansion for the weekend, discounted rates are offered to Picture Perfect Weekend students.
